Five Word Story

This one is an ongoing story... sort of. Each poster follows up the previous one with a continuation of a tale. The post must logically segue from the previous one in terms of sentence structure, but logic need not apply! Any sentence that ENDS is fair game for a new one but you MUST start a new one. To make things more interesting, each most must be exactly five words long.
EXAMPLE:
There once was a man

Who ran for his life
~
From a band of rabid
~
Rabbits. They had very sharp....
TO BEGIN: It all began at night...
